- Hi !
-
-
- I had much trouble getting slirp to run (on a SunOs4.2-unixshell),
- compiled it (as in the docs) - no problem - changed my startnet-script
- from amitcp (changed my IP into 10.0.2.15, my default-ip/host-ip into
- 10.0.2.2 (which all are slirp-defaults)...changed the nameservers
- in amitcp:db/resolv.conf as shown when you start slirp in your unix-shell
- and the domain-names into mine...
-
- But slirp didnt run...i couldnt figure out why...
-
- After a while i found its essential important (especially for slip/cslip,
- dunno if this is the case with ppp, too)..that the line i'm connected into
- the shell is 100% 8-bit-clean (telnet etc...mostly is NOT)...so you *maybe*
- have to find out how to switch your line on your terminalserver (!) before
- the login into your unixaccount to a real 8-bit-line...in my case the command
- was "terminal download" (its a cisco-termserver)....if i dont do that i cannot
- get slirp to run.....maybe this is your problem ?
-
- Okey....
